S2: Yeah, it’s actually a great social distancing movie because it makes you really question whether you should ever visit your family again. This is not a good family Thanksgiving movie because it’s about the total collapse of a family. This is not this is a good Thanksgiving movie for when you’re not allowed to travel to see your family. But I wasn’t thinking about Thanksgiving. And watching it again, reminded of why I got under my skin so much the first time. But just the opening sequence alone through the credit sequence, I just remember being like, OK, what is this? I’m already sort of very spooked in a way that I wasn’t expecting to be. And for me, it was like I just vividly remember, it was only like five or so years ago maybe. I don’t know if this happens for you, where you just have these experiences, where you watch something, where you’re just like, I need other people to see it because I need people to talk about this movie with. And all of a sudden a lot of my friends were seeing it for the first time, which was really exciting to me because it’s one of those movies where when I saw it for the first time, I was immediately like, wait, have you guys seen this movie? You know, just for me, it became one of those. I chose it because the Criterium Channel for the month of October did the 70s horror package, low budget horror in particular. So even if I had tried to plan such a thing, it would be beyond me right now to have that much foresight. You were not thinking about Thanksgiving release in particular, I gather?
