It does however lack behind in DPS compared to the normal Destruction build. The benefits of this Build are that you can keep a pet out and have some additional cleave damage thanks to Shadowfury. The talent build however lacks Shadow Mastery or Demonic Sacrifice to further boost your damage. There is also a Destruction spec known as Destro Nightfall (DN in short): This build goes deeper into the Destruction tree to also pick up Shadowfury and takes other beneficial talents in the Affliction Tree in order to further boost the damage of Corruption.

The focus here is on aerobic power. In this guide, we focus purely on The Burning Crusade endgame builds for PvE and PvP.

Just don't let yourself get bogged down and mashing. Expect your cadence to fall a bit near the end of the test that is normal. Focus on keeping a good position on the bike with a nice steady cadence of ideally over 80-95rpm. This is a seated test with a focus on smoothness and consistency. At that point, stop pedaling and the test will automatically end and will shift to a nice long cooldown. So keep pedaling until you simply cannot go any further. You are trying to record your absolute best one minute power. This is a maximal effort until exhaustion.

From there, you should max out within 3-5 minutes. It is at that point - when the difficulty really shifts - that you need to dig in. And then, rather suddenly, it will get much, much harder. It should start out feeling extremely easy. The ramp portion of the test should, ideally, take about 5-20 minutes to complete. It uses a relatively short progressive build of one minute steps to quickly identify the upper limit of your aerobic capacity. You can find it in the same folder as this version.Ī ramp test is designed to estimate your FTP. If you're below 60kg/132lbs or are just newer to cycling, you might prefer the Ramp Test Lite. This variation of the Ramp Test is designed for more experienced and larger riders.
